Dr. Edward Berzin is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his medical doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in 1994. He went to New York for the general surgery portion of his training, and then returned to Baylor in 1997 to complete his plastic surgery residency along with a fellowship in microsurgery and peripheral nerve surgery. He has published numerous articles on variety of topics in plastic surgery, is frequently an invited lecturer to both civic groups as well as academic groups, and volunteers in teaching the plastic surgery residents at Baylor. Dr. Berzin is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), American Medical Association (AMA), Texas Medical Association (TMA), and the Harris County Medical Society. Our primary office location is in the Texas Medical Center (Houston) and a satellite location in Kingwood, TX. He is fluent in both Spanish and Russian and his clinical interests include a variety of procedures, with the more challenging cases being his favorites. Roxan Goodwin (Patient Coordinator). Roxy has been with the practice from the very beginning. She has played an integral part in cultivating a patient friendly environment ensuring that the patients' needs come first. As patient coordinator, she is responsible for scheduling all surgeries as well as pre-authorizing all scheduled and emergency admissions. Roxan has a strong work ethic and her enthusiasm has proven to be contagious. Lynda Victor (Patient Coordinator) Along with helping Roxan with scheduling, Lynda is the insurance coordinator and is an expert at demystifying health insurance plans, policies, and procedures. She joined our practice shortly after Roxy, her sister, recruited her only as sisters can do. Lynda is a patient advocate who has committed herself to making patient care the priority and guiding them through different financing options for cosmetic procedures or the intricacies of their health insurance policy. Pamela Anderson (Administrative Coordinator) Pam is the newest member of our team. She has a wealth of experience in the healthcare field, and her previous work experience has helped enhance our practice. She is primarily responsible for coordinating patient flow, scheduling, billing, and keeping a well organized environment that ultimately benefits the patients. Sharon Jeeves assists Dr Berzin in our Kingwood office. She has more than 10 years experience in a medical office setting and is the go-to person for our Kingwood patients. With a dry sense of humor and incredible wit, Sharon is dedicated to optimizing patient care, and often stays late to accommodate patients.
